Haug Appointed MetroEast Region PR Coordinator by the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners: Lindsay Haug

The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) has appointed Lindsay Haug as the
event coordinator for the NJAWBO MetroEast Region. Haug is the co-owner and vice president of Bona Vita Benefits, of Livingston, New Jersey. As the region event coordinator, she is responsible for organizing and facilitating at region events.

Lindsay Haug is an avid supporter of people living as healthy a life as possible. Because the world of group health insurance can be confusing, she uses both her personal health experience as well as her professional background to equip business owners and their employees with a wide array of tools to navigate their health insurance plans. When it comes to health, she is passionate about educating as many people as possible on how to advocate for themselves and how to ask doctors the necessary questions to fully understand what they are dealing with. Haug is committed to sharing her insight and expertise so everyone can benefit from the gift of health, which she believes will enable them to live life to its fullest.

“NJAWBO is an organization that, from my first event, I knew I wanted to join,” comments Haug. “The room was filled with members who showed mutual respect and admiration for one another, and the level of support the members commit to each other was bar none. I knew I was home from the beginning, and I am so excited to be part of such an amazing group of women.”

NJAWBO’s MetroEast Region is generally comprised of business owners from Essex, Hudson, and Union counties. The group hosts monthly networking luncheons in Montclair. All events are open to members and nonmembers from across the state.

The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) is the longest-standing, statewide organization of women business owners in New Jersey. Its primary objective is to encourage and support business ownership by women, provide a legislative voice for the interests of women-owned businesses, and offer leadership, professional development, and networking opportunities for business owners. Since 1978, NJAWBO has helped women achieve their business visions by providing them with the tools to develop and grow their enterprises. NJAWBO members are a diverse, dynamic, and powerful group of women business owners.
