Wisconsin Public Radio Ideas Network Assistant Director Stanford University John S. Knight Journalism Fellow: Jennifer Brown Dargan

Jennifer recently completed a year at Stanford University as a John S. Knight journalism fellow. She used her time at Stanford deepening her knowledge about journalism, leadership, organizational behavior, equity, and the history of race and whiteness in the U.S. She interviewed a diverse group journalist from startups to legacy organizations about the culture of their newsrooms. She developed a case study about talking about race on public radio and is creating a tool to help white journalists be better colleagues to journalist of color.
