Fazila Seker Celebrates FDA Clearance for New Breast Cancer Surgical Tool

Fazila Seker PhD’99, president and CEO of MOLLI Surgical, has announced FDA clearance for her company’s revolutionary new wire-free localization technology for breast surgery. The innovation helps radiologists mark lesions quickly and accurately, enabling surgeons to remove the affected tissue more efficiently while achieving optimum cosmetic results and a better patient experience. Dr. Seker cofounded MOLLI Surgical, building on nearly 20 years in business venture development, commercial leadership, and market strategy. She pursues her passion for women’s health equity as a frequent thought leadership author and blogger, and hosts a weekly Facebook Live show called “Breast Practices,” where experts, advocates, and patients discuss topics related to breast cancer and patient-centered health care. Dr. Seker earned her PhD in chemistry at UW–Madison.
