Eric Obscherning Promoted to Associate Director at C&M International
Eric Obscherning ’15 has been promoted to associate director at Crowell & Moring International, a global government relations, public policy, and public affairs firm, effective July 1, 2021. Eric joined the firm in December 2017 as an associate consultant, making his progression to associate director the fastest in the firm’s 30-year history. Eric designs, launches, and manages multistakeholder coalitions and initiatives driven by companies and associations across the health and life sciences sectors. He advises senior executives in the biopharmaceutical industry as they navigate health, trade, regulatory, and innovation policies, and partner with governments and other stakeholders to address global health challenges, from COVID-19 to rare genetic diseases. Eric is a trusted strategic adviser to ministers of health across Asia and Latin America. Eric earned a BS in biology and English and a certificate in global health.
