Badgers Contributing in the Pandemic: Chris C. Taylor

Nov. 25, 2020
Category: Volunteer

Chris C Taylor, 2014, jumped into action since the start of the pandemic. When everyone else was unsure of what to do with their time in quarantine, Chris took initiative right away, using his 3D printer to produce face shields and ear protectors for frontline workers, as part of Minnesota Maker Collective and ICUshieldsMN. They have made thousands of protective devices on a completely volunteer basis, run out of only their own pockets and donations. I have been one of the frontline workers who received protective gear from Chris, and will never forget how his compassionate and selfless dedication to service has protected myself, my baby at home, husband and unborn baby, so that I can care for my patients and work on COVID19 vaccine development. I am honored to call Chris a fellow alumni of mine. Please see link where donations can be made to Minnesota Maker Collective.
