Obituary: Bruce Dale Hockaday, October 23, 2017, 1981 graduate of UW

Bruce Dale Hockaday died on Oct. 23, 2017, from ALS. Bruce had lived in Vernon, CT for over 34 years. He was an employee of United Technologies, working in various positions there until his retirement in December 2016. He was a passionate advocate for science and engineering careers and a volunteer for a local FIRST Robotics team for more than twenty years.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Sarah Karstaedt, and three children, Sam, Emily and William.
