Student Orgs – Sell The Red Shirt as a Fundraiser!
Why should your student organization or school/college sell The Red Shirt? It’s simple, when partaking in The Red Shirt initiative you’ll be carrying on the tradition of giving back by funding valuable WAA scholarships and programs while also raising money for your organization.
Here’s what this opportunity means for your organization:
• A return of $4.22 for each shirt sold – that’s money in your pocket!
• Customized posters to advertise your efforts – free promotional materials!
• NO Risk. That’s right, WAA will not make your student organization commit to buying any apparel with money you don’t necessarily have to spend. We’ll allocate a designated amount of items to your organization and what you don’t sell can be returned to WAA (as long as they are returned in re-salable condition).
In return WAA asks for the following cooperation:
• A timeline or specific plan for selling apparel
• Records of inventory
• Accept only cash or checks
• Upon completion of your selling efforts, return all revenue and unused apparel to WAA upon which a check for your portion of the sales will be cut directly back to your organization
• Assume responsibility for shirts that are lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise not returned to WAA within the specified time period at a cost of $8.00 per shirt
