This position supports Marketing and Communications staff by managing projects in various marketing, membership and production departments. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and have the ability to effectively multi-task, efficiently manage time and projects, articulate clearly, be creative and be personable.

Organizational Relationship:

Works within the Marketing and Communications department and is a member of various WAA marketing, project and production teams.

Supervised by:

Director of Production Management in conjunction with Senior Director of Marketing

• Support the Director of Production and the Senior Director of Marketing by assisting in the management and coordination of marketing campaigns/projects--from planning and execution to reporting results. This includes development, sourcing, production and delivery of marketing collateral and materials.
• Operate high-end digital printer and finishing equipment in Production Center.
• Assist Production Director with sourcing, scheduling and managing production with outside vendors.
• Assist Senior Director of Marketing with the scheduling, coordination and management of ongoing marketing projects.
• Foster a team atmosphere and be a liaison between marketing managers, creative team, production team and project leaders.
• Communicate key project details to design and production teams in a timely manner.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with clients and work teams.
• Identify target audiences, develop segmented list criteria for marketing communications and ensure all marketing materials reflect the WAA/UW brand.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.

• A bachelor’s degree, with one to three years of work experience in marketing, production and/or project management.
• A commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of marketing best practices, branding, direct mail and marketing collateral production.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems. Ability to adapt to and learn new applications and technologies as required.
• Strong organizational, office and business skills.
• Team-oriented, problem-solver and customer-focused.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Some after-work and weekend hours are required.
