WAA Library Service Details

The ProQuest Research Library indexes more than 2,000 periodicals and provides the full text of nearly 1,000 of them. It has a mix of general interest and academic journals that cover the arts, business, education, health, humanities, psychology, sciences and the social sciences. It contains periodicals covering multicultural and women's issues and international affairs.

One of the world's first electronic databases, ABI/INFORM has been a premier source of business information for more than 30 years. The database contains content from thousands of journals that help researchers track business conditions, trends, management techniques, corporate strategies, and industry-specific topics worldwide. Popular journals include Forbes, Fortune and Business Week.

If you've ever spent a considerable amount of time researching a topic, you might need help acquiring those hard-to-find articles! Paid Wisconsin Alumni Association members may receive e-mail reference services from a UW-Madison librarian. And, upon request, library staff can help locate, then copy and deliver by e-mail a limited number of articles that are owned in print in campus libraries.
