Perspectives
In each session, you’ll read a few cantos and discuss the Comedy’s broad themes, in addition to Dante’s textual strategies and the value of interdisciplinary approaches to the poem.
Connections
Together with alumni and friends, you’ll examine the text from a number of perspectives: literary, historical, political, artistic, scientific, philosophical and theological.
Context
You can tap in to this rich UW resource with Professor Emeritus Christopher Kleinhenz, who for 40 years has led students through The Divine Comedy, showing them why the medieval text matters.
