All UW-Madison faculty and staff are invited to attend a free workshop, "Even UW Faculty and Staff Can (and Should) Twitter”, presented by the Wisconsin Alumni Association.
The workshop will be a primer on how to use Twitter and how faculty and staff can be successful using it. As more students, alumni, and friends of the university discover the virtues of Twitter, staff and faculty will need to be familiar with the service to disseminate information, energize and engage with their audience or build a community.
Taught by James Ellis, Web Director of the Wisconsin Alumni Association and recently seen on WISC-TV, this workshop will turn even Twitter-newbies into Twitter Power Users.
The class is free and open to any UW faculty and staff. The workshops will be held:
September 9, 2009
