Parents of new UW students are invited to come to campus for First-Year Parents Weekend, November 14-16, 2008. Learn what life is like at the UW today and participate in your student's UW experience.

Online registration will open Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at noon central time.
We will not accept registrations by fax or phone.

Friday, November 14
Check-in & Hospitality 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Wisconsin Alumni Association, 650 N. Lake Street Enjoy refreshments and the company of other first-year parents as you check-in fort this enlightening weekend on the UW-Madison campus. Please note that this event is check-in only; you must send in your registration form and fee by Friday, October 31, 2008.
Financial Success Seminar 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Pyle Center, 720 Langdon Street Are you a parent who wants to educate your student about managing money? The Wisconsin Alumni Association is offering this seminar that teaches students and their parents about responsible credit.
Day On Campus 12:15 p.m.- 4:30 p.m., Pyle Center, 702 Langdon Street Choose a lecture in each of the three sessions offered during this popular program. Session topics TBA.
University Library Open House 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., College Library Please join other parents as they discover how the UW libraries have been transformed into one of the most highly valued resources for students on the Madison campus. Thanks to Generous gifts from parents, libraries have created new spaces for student research and group learning, as well as safe, comfortable environments for late night study.
Welcome and UW Q&A Session 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., Pyle Center, 720 Langdon Street Paula Bonner, President/CEO of the Wisconsin Alumni Association, officially welcomes you to First-Year Parents' Weekend 2008. Then get answers to all your questions about academics, research, tuition, and life on campus and more during an informative session with UW faculty and staff.
Saturday, November 15
Pre-Game BADGER HUDDLE Tailgate TBA, Field House, Camp Randall Stadium Food, Fun, fans, Field House! We'll get you prepared for a Big Ten classic match-up between the Badgers and the Minnesota Gophers by providing refreshments and general revelry. Live music, merchandise and appearances by Bucky, the Spirit Squad and members of the band add to the festival atmosphere.
Football game: Wisconsin vs. Minnesota Game time TBA, Camp Randall Stadium Don't miss the Big Ten gridiron meeting between the Badgers and the Gophers. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats for the game are located in the south end zone of Camp Randall Stadium.
