Financial Success Seminar

Are you a parent who wants to educate your student about managing money? The Wisconsin Alumni Association is offering this seminar that teaches students and their parents about responsible credit.

Day On Campus

University Library Open House
2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., College Library
Please join other parents as they discover how the UW libraries have been transformed into one of the most highly valued resources for students on the Madison campus. Thanks to Generous gifts from parents, libraries have created new spaces for student research and group learning, as well as safe, comfortable environments for late night study.

Welcome and UW Q&A Session

Paula Bonner, President/CEO of the Wisconsin Alumni Association, officially welcomes you to First-Year Parents' Weekend 2008. Then get answers to all your questions about academics, research, tuition, and life on campus and more during an informative session with UW faculty and staff.

Pre-Game BADGER HUDDLE Tailgate
TBA, Field House, Camp Randall Stadium
Food, Fun, fans, Field House! We'll get you prepared for a Big Ten classic match-up between the Badgers and the Minnesota Gophers by providing refreshments and general revelry. Live music, merchandise and appearances by Bucky, the Spirit Squad and members of the band add to the festival atmosphere.

Football game: Wisconsin vs. Minnesota
Game time TBA, Camp Randall Stadium
Don't miss the Big Ten gridiron meeting between the Badgers and the Gophers. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats for the game are located in the south end zone of Camp Randall Stadium.
