It’s This Spring’s Biggest Weekend on Campus!

Be a part of Alumni Weekend 2010! Each spring, the Wisconsin Alumni Association offers Badger grads like you the opportunity to reconnect with your UW alumni family. It’s the one time each year you can attend classes taught by today’s faculty, reminisce with old friends and visit your favorite spots in Madison.

This year, the weekend is packed with activities where you can mingle with notable alumni, enjoy locally sourced food and drink, catch up with campus departments, workout your Crazylegs and show off your Badger spirit.

Full Schedule
All events during Alumni Weekend from Thursday, April 22 through Sunday, April 25, including special campus tours of Camp Randall and the Lakeshore Preserve. Or, see a .pdf invitation.

Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony and Dinner
Thursday, April 22 at Memorial Union. Hear from five notable alumni as they receive WAA’s highest honor, and enjoy a musical tribute performance by UW’s co-ed a capella group, Redefined. Dinner will feature a sustainable and locally sourced menu.

Day on Campus: Food Summit
Friday, April 23, at Memorial Union. Featuring lectures and discussions on a wide variety of topics surrounding food. Includes a keynote address by former Sen. George McGovern, and talks from Madison food writer Michelle Wildgen ’97 and UW faculty experts in biochemistry, food science, nutrition and consumer science.

Class of 1960 Reunion
Events for the Class of 1960 include a Welcome Reception on Friday, April 23, and the Half Century Dinner and Reception on Saturday, April 24.

Special School and College Events
Thanks to a number of schools and colleges on campus, there will be no shortage of fun and informative activities for you to enjoy during Alumni Weekend.

Spirit Day
Wear Badger red on Friday, April 23 and showcase the valuable role that UW grads play in the workforce and in communities around the world. A photo contest is open to grads all over the world. Need something to wear? How about The Red Shirt?

Crazylegs World
If you can’t make it to Madison to run the Crazylegs Classic on Saturday, April 24, Crazylegs World is coming to you with everything you need to be part of the legacy.
