Hail to the Lady

In a repeat performance of one of the most popular college pranks ever, Lady Liberty resurfaced on Lake Mendota during the Wisconsin Hoofers Winter Carnival in February. Watch a slideshow of her assembly, without written instructions.

ASK ABE: Who’s the Behind-the-Scenes Badger?

Ask Abe
Amanda Toepel ’03 and Peter Bianco ’95 wanted to know the identity of the Badger writer for the TV show Psych, airing Jan. 30, 2009. Peter asks Abe: “Main character Shawn Spencer is making observations about a football team to the coach — the players are named Bevell, Dayne, Fletcher, Bollinger and Calderwood. Two questions: Who is the Badger and how does a point guard end up on a football team?”

Honest Abe answers your questions.
