In Defense of Food

Check Out the Go Big Read Book Title

From nearly 400 nominated titles, Chancellor Biddy Martin selected In Defense of Food: An Eater’s Manifesto by Michael Pollan for the inaugural “Go Big Read.” The common reading program, designed to engage students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members in a shared, academically focused reading experience, will launch this fall.

Office Hours Available Online

Office Hours, a 30-minute talk show on the Big Ten Network, features UW faculty making a difference, from unlocking the DNA of the common cold to studying the economy. The show is hosted by UW professor Ken Goldstein and produced by his political science students and University Communications.

Affordable Health Care for Farmers

A UW-Madison physician is partnering with the Wisconsin Federation of Cooperatives to lower health insurance costs for farmers and their families.
