Tell Your Story

Campus Voices is a project designed to capture and tell the stories and memories of UW-Madison through the people who lived them. The current undertaking focuses on the Sterling Hall Bombing. If you were on campus in 1970 — and will be again this summer from Aug. 23 to 29, 2010 — you’re invited to stop by the Wisconsin Story Booth inside Memorial Library and record your memories, thoughts and stories about this historical event.

Jack Schmidt ’48, MS’50, PhD’52 asks Abe: “Am I dreaming or did Sergei Rachmaninoff actually visit the UW campus in the late ’40s or early ’50s? I seem to remember him being in the Union Theater.”
