Bring a little bit of campus to your desktop computer!

To add a UW-Madison wallpaper to your personal computer, click on the link that corresponds to the pixel-width of your computer's desktop. When the image has finished loading, right-click on it with your mouse and choose the option "Set as wallpaper" or "Set as background."

To add a UW-Madison wallpaper for a Mac running OS X, follow these instructions:

Pick the image you want, and right-click to download it.
When the menu pops up to ask you where you want to save it, in the bottom left hand side of that box are options like "desktop" and "applications." at the bottom of that list is "pictures." save the file to your pictures folder.
Once you've got your file saved, right-click on your desktop, and when the menu pops up, select "change desktop background."
Another menu will pop up, and allow you to choose from the images in your pictures folder.
Click on the image you want, and it will automatically become your desktop background. you can choose, at the top of this window, to tile the image, or have it fill the screen. This way, you can download multiple images from our site, and change them whenever you'd like to see a new part of campus.
