Screensavers

Add UW scenes to your screen! These screensavers feature a dozen of your favorite campus landscapes that rotate every five seconds.

Simply right-click on the appropriate icon below and download to your desktop. You may want to print out the following directions before installing your screensaver.

To run the WAA Screensaver on your PC:

You'll need Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 or XP and a minimum system RAM of 64MB.

Please be aware that depending on the speed of your connection, the screensaver may take a while to download. Save the .exe file to your computer and remember where you've saved it.

Find the .exe file and double click on it to begin installation. Click "Install" and your screensaver will be installed.

You will then be asked if you want to open the screensaver panel. Click yes to preview the screensaver straight away or if you want to adjust the amount of time your computer waits before activating the screensaver. Click no if you don't want to preview the screensaver. The screensaver will appear automatically next time your computer is idle.

To run the WAA Screensaver on your Mac:

To install a screensaver, simply place its application file in the system folder Library/Screen Savers or in your own ~/Library/Screen Savers folder, depending on whether you want public or private access.

Remember that after you've installed a new screensaver, you still must choose it in the your ScreenEffects Preferences to activate it.
