Gone and silent

Sean is very busy, and so I haven’t heard from him in a while. He told me this would be the case, so I’m not worried — but it’s still a bummer. This double whammy of having him gone and now silent is, I imagine, what some parents have been experiencing all along this year (whether their kids go to the UW or somewhere else), so I can hardly feel sorry for myself. But still…

This letting go is not for the faint of heart.
