Sorry for the downer yesterday. Maybe some of you can relate. I’m better now.
If you aren’t signed up for e-mails and e-newsletters through the UW’s Parent Program (www.parent.wisc.edu, or 877/262-3977, or 608/262-3977 if you’re local), get yourself signed up right away! I’ve just received word of the program’s Badger Family Spring Visit, which I hope you’ll be able to take advantage of. It’s quite an amazing collection of campus and city events that run just about the whole month of April.
According to the Parent Program web site, “We invite your Badger family to visit campus, your student, and Madison this April 2009. Experience a variety of free and low-cost family-friendly events, as well as the beauty of springtime in Madison.”
What’s not to love about that?! You’ll also receive a complimentary Badger Family welcome bag when you register. So come on back to campus and enjoy some of the many events going on in April. You’ll be impressed by all that the campus and city have to offer. I know I was, and I work and live there!
Also, be aware that registration for summer school starts on March 30 — very soon — and registration for the fall semester — how can this be?! — starts not long after, on April 5.
One funny thing: Yesterday when I checked the dryer, I found that Sean had accidentally left behind all of his new jeans, except the ones he was wearing, plus had purposely left behind all of the ones he didn’t want anymore. Good thing we live close by.
