MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Alumni Student Board (WASB) announces its second annual MadLaughs: Comedy for a Cause event to be held on Thursday, Nov. 29, at Madison Avenue. The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m.
MadLaughs is an annual stand-up comedy event featuring UW student comedians. Audience members determine the winner of this competition by voting with cash donations for their favorite comedian. The money raised goes to Operation Smile, a charity that works to fix facial deformities in children. MadLaughs will be held at Madison Avenue, 624 University Ave. The event is open to anyone 18 or older, with a valid UW ID.
The Wisconsin Alumni Student Board is the working student arm of the Wisconsin Alumni Association (WAA). These organizations work in tandem to provide opportunities like MadLaughs that connect students and alumni of UW-Madison.
