"We're pleased to welcome graduating international students to the worldwide family of UW alumni," said WAA President and CEO Paula Bonner. "We also invite students who will graduate in a future year to attend the reception to congratulate, honor, and say good-bye to their graduating friends."
The celebration will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Martin and Florence Below Alumni Center, 650 N. Lake Street. A program at 5:30 p.m. will feature remarks from Lori Berquam, UW-Madison dean of students; Liz Stern, WAA's director of international relations; and Sara Thurston-Gonzalez, interim director of the Office of International Student Services.
