India Initiative Reception
On October 11, 2007, the Wisconsin Alumni Association, the Division of International Studies and the Center for South Asia hosted a reception for Indian American alumni in the Madison area and UW-Madison faculty with an interest in India. Historically UW-Madison has had many ties to India. To recognize the importance of India in the world, UW-Madison Dean of International Studies, Gilles Bousquet, announced an India Initiative that will expand and augment the many affiliations that already exist between the university and India. The University of Wisconsin is committed to mutually beneficial partnerships. Share with us some of the images from the India Initiative reception.
