Get Involved With Go Big Read

Go Big Read
Take part in the conversation about author Rebecca Skloot’s book, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, during her upcoming visit to UW-Madison.

You’re invited to An Evening With Rebecca Skloot on Monday, October 25, at 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center. It’s a great chance to delve even deeper into the book as the author takes you on a thoughtful, critical journey through her work.

Can’t make it in person? Click here to watch the live stream on October 25 at 7 p.m., Central time.

Continue your pursuit of knowledge
Along with attending the lecture or watching it via your computer, you can also share in the experience by joining an online discussion group or starting an in-person book club with your local chapter.

For information on where you can buy the book, details about the lecture and background on Go Big Read, the university’s common-reading program, visit the Go Big Read website.

Go Big Read Initiative

To encourage continuing conversations and education, UW-Madison developed Go Big Read, the university's first-ever common book program.

Share in the experience by attending these lectures, watching them via your computer, reading the book, joining an online discussion group or starting an in-person book club with your local chapter.
And don't forget the conversation on Twitter and the #GoBigRead tag. You don't even need a Twitter account to follow along!
