WASB Campus & Community Outreach Team

The Campus and Community Outreach team is a fun and flexible team that serves the campus and Madison community through volunteerism, fundraising, and outreach. Each semester, CCO plans events to connect WASB members with the greater community and prospective Wisconsin students.
The fall's Children's Extravaganza provides an afternoon of carnival-fun for students in Madison after-school programs and MadLaughs: Comedy for a Cause is a philanthropy event featuring UW student-comedians to raise awareness and money for a national charity. Spring semester's Prospective Scholars Day is a unique opportunity for WASB to invite prospective students from historically underrepresented communities to UW-Madison for a day to learn about benefits, application processes and student opportunities in higher education.
