SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The Wisconsin Alumni Association: Waukesha County Chapter is awarding scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to deserving students graduating from accredited Waukesha County high schools in 2010. The student must attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The winners will be selected based on their academic achievements, extra-curricular involvement, community service, financial need and quality of the application presented to the Wisconsin Alumni Association, Waukesha County Chapter. Applications must be postmarked no later than Monday, March 1, 2010. The Scholarship Committee will review the applications and conduct interviews with the most qualified candidates. Interviews will be scheduled for mid-April. Winners will be announced in late April.
Students must submit five (5) collated packets, each containing a copy of the following in order:
1. The completed application form. (Download and copy the application as a MS Word document to complete. All applications must be typed.)
2. Transcripts with seven (7) semesters of your grades, copies accepted
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation
Also include two (2) self-addressed stamped letter sized envelopes. One envelope will be used to confirm receipt of the completed application packets and the other will be for notification of the student's selection status. Do not mail the application until you have received your grades from the first semester of your senior year. Applications e-mailed will not be accepted. Failure to comply with the above instructions may result in disqualification.
The Wisconsin Alumni Association: Waukesha County Chapter exists primarily to raise scholarship money for graduating seniors. We encourage all interested students to apply.
