Program: John D. Wiley MS'65, PhD'68, Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will be giving a UW-Madison Update.
John D. Wiley received both his master’s degree and a PhD in physics from UW-Madison. He joined the faculty in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1975, and served as an associate dean in the College of Engineering, dean of the Graduate School and provost before being named the UW’s 27th chancellor in 2001. Chancellor Wiley will be stepping down in September 2008 after seven years of service ensuring UW-Madison’s place among the nation’s best universities by leading efforts to promote research, balancing state budget cuts with quality education, and promoting outreach programs that benefit the citizens of Wisconsin.

Support local students!
Give to the Vacationland Scholarship Fund. All funds collected, up to $8,000, will be matched by the UW Foundation. All proceeds will go to deserving local students attending UW-Madison.
