• Tacky Holiday Sweater Happy Hour (Thursday Dec 10, 2009)
• Rock & Roll Bowling - disco lights, music, pizza (and some bowling) (Friday Jan 29, 2010)
• WI at MN Men’s basketball tickets –Williams Arena (Thursday Feb 18, 2010)
• WI hockey game road trip (bus) to Duluth, St Cloud or Mankato
• Let’s Dish – personal self-service meal assembly (freeze/bake at home)
• Basketball & Hockey game viewing parties & March Madness
Spring:
• Curling – Sat April 17
• Brewery Tour
• Wine & Cheese pairing
• Founder’s Day Dinner (to celebrate the founding date of our Great Alma Mater) – May 2010
• Milwaukee Brewers at MN Twins (schedule dependent – could be in summer) May 21-23, 2010
Summer:
• Co-ed Kickball Team (City League)
• Brit’s Pub Lawn Bowling Tournament
• Lake Minnetonka Boat Cruise
• St Paul Saints tailgate & baseball game
• Casual weekend bike rides around the Twin Cities
• Senior Send-Off (picnic for Twin Cities High School grads attending UW in the Fall)
• All-Big 10 Alumni Softball Tourney (August 28, 2010)
Fall:
• Pohle’s Badger Blast (bi-annual): Tailgate before WI at MN football game. The biggest Badger tailgate outside of Madison! (save the date: Oct 15, 2011)
• Young Alumni Happy Hour: Welcome to the Twin Cities
• UW Football game viewing parties
Ongoing (no defined season):
• Happy Hours
• Networking events with individual schools/colleges (i.e., School of Business)
• Occasional Theater/Arts events
• Science/Art Museum tie-ins with UW-Madison Speaker/Prof (through WAA/Life & Learning)
• Volunteer opportunities:
• Mentoring prospective high school seniors looking to attend UW-Madison
• Loaves and Fishes: Bi-monthly dinner prep and serving to the needy
• Second Harvest Food Shelf: Semi-annual preparation of care boxes
• Feed My Starving Children: Annual assembly of meals for overseas shipment to hungry children
