July was kind of a slow month for us, but we're making up for that with an action packed August.

- Pohle Blast / Wisconsin at Minnesota Football: Ok, so it's not actually in August, but we've been fielding a lot of questions on this topic. We're still finalizing details on the tailgate and will notify everyone via e-mail and our website once everything is set in stone. With the new stadium game tickets are very limited this year and our chapter won't be able to buy up big blocks of seats like we could in the Metrodome.

Senior Send Off - 8/2/2009 - 5-7 p.m.: Our annual "Welcome to UW-Madison" picnic for high school seniors on their way to Madison. We may be in need of recent graduates to help out so if you're interested let Janna (jannarenee@uwalumni.com) know.

Loaves and Fishes - 8/5/2009 - 5-7 p.m.: This is an ongoing event we do where we feed meals to the needy. If you're interested you can contact Linda (Linda.Wandt@genmills.com).

"Being Bucky" Movie Screening - 8/12/2009: We're still trying to nail down all of the final details on this one, but it should be a blast. If you haven't heard about this film it's a behind the scenes documentary on what it takes to don the Bucky Badger uniform. (The film won awards at the Wisconsin Film Festival). We're planning to have the director on hand to answer questions afterward. Keep an eye on our website and your Inbox for more details. If you have questions contact Linda (linda.wandt@genmills.com).

Lake Minntonka Boat Cruise - 8/15/2009 - 7:30-10:30 p.m.: Join us for an annual favorite as we enjoy food and drinks while cruising Lake Minnetonka. Contact George (georgempa@uwalumni.com) with questions.
