The Bay Area Badgers Alumni Chapter was established to help connect UW-Madison graduates living and working in the Bay Area with each other and with the greater University community.
Bay Area Badgers Upcoming Events (CLICK LINKS FOR DETAILS):
- Ongoing (Saturdays): BADGER FOOTBALL GAMES!, watch all the games at our designated local game viewing locations
- Sunday, October 5th: Big 10 Picnic, 11:00 AM, Little Marina Green, San Francisco. All-you-can-eat BBQ, games, prizes, networking.
- Saturday, October 11th: Book Signing at Ace's in SF, come to Ace's for the Badgers vs. Penn St. football game and listen to former Badger football player Chris Kennedy tell his story about playing for the Badgers at the start of the Barry Alvarez era, culminating with a 1994 Rose Bowl victory!
- Friday, October 17th: Happy Hour in San Francisco, 5:30 PM, Tonic, 2360 Polk St. (@ Union), San Francisco
- Saturday, November 22nd: Habitat for Humanity Event, Redwood City (more details TBA)
- Ongoing: Bay Area Badgers Book Club, San Francisco, Meetings Monthly
- Auction: 2008 On-Line Auction is NOW CLOSED. Thank you to all who bid! We raised over $3800 to benefit the Bay Area Badgers UW Scholarship Fund!

OUR MISSION:
- Foster fellowship, friendship, and cooperation among alumni and friends of the University in the Bay Area.
- Serve as a useful tool for networking in the local employment market.
- Encourage qualified young people to attend UW-Madison.
- Support local students attending the University.
- Provide UW-Madison alumni, parents, and students in the area with support and local connection to the University.
- Provide leadership in the support of higher education.
- Work closely with the Wisconsin Alumni Association in promoting the best interests of the University.
- Assist and support UW student and alumni organizations.
- Maintain awareness of legislative developments affecting the University.
- Socialize in that famous Badger tradition!
