The Rochester UW Alumni Chapter is located in Rochester, MN and it's members come from Rochester and surrounding towns, primarily Pine Island, Zumbrota, Mazeppa, Byron, Kasson, Mantorville, Stewartville, Plainview, Elgin, and Millville.

Our 2007 Student Send-Off was great fun. This year we hope to do even better! We'll have Babcock ice cream again, some snacks, give away gifts for the new (and current) students, a t-shirt sale, and unbeatable company. Come and hear tales shared from our wise alumni, stories of student life from current students, and get to meet freshman and parents from the incoming class.

Congratulations to board member, newsletter editor, and future VP Amber King for her selection to the IBM Corporate Service Corps. She will be spending a month in Tanzania this fall as part of a team helping to facilitate new business creation with microloans. Way to go Amber!!
For the second year in a row, the Rochester UW Alumni Chapter receives "Bascom Level" Chapter Award!
Your Rochester UW Alumni Chapter once again has been named a Bascom Level Chapter. The WAA says, “The organizations have been honored as “Bascom Chapters” for providing a higher level of alumni service in their communities.” For more information, see the WAA Press Release below. This is the second consecutive year the Rochester Chapter has received WAA's highest chapter honor. This year, Rochester is one of only 16 chapters to receive the award. Last year, only nine chapters held the honor. The award was announced Friday, Oct. 26, 2007.
