Rochester Badgers - About Our Chapter

We have around 550 UW Madison graduates in our immediate Rochester area and over 1200 in SE Minnesota. About 50-75 are active members in our Alumni Chapter and over 20 are on our board of directors. In any one year, most of these people participate in some Alumni Chapter function or activity. Our Rochester UW Alumni Chapter area covers these eight counties in Southeastern Minnesota: Olmsted, Dodge, Goodhue, Wabasha, Fillmore, Mower, Winona, and Houston.

Participation in local service organizations includes the Ronald McDonald House, the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, and Christmas Anonymous. Our scholarship program has grown to ten $1500 scholarship awards to applicants from ten high schools in Rochester and the surrounding area. We support Wisconsin athletics and have a number of social activities each year beyond our traditional Founders Day event in May.

If you aren't in the WAA Alumni Directory then you aren't getting everything you can from WAA (Wisconsin Alumni Association) or the Rochester Badgers. You don't need to be a member of WAA to keep your entry current - including your email address and interest profile. If you haven't used the directory in awhile, you may have to get a new Userid, to do so just follow the online directions.
