150 Years of Celebrating Alumni:

The Wisconsin Alumni Association is proud to celebrate a century and a half of service to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and its graduates.

The WAA was founded in 1861 by early alumni who wanted to support the future of their alma mater. Throughout 2011, we're celebrating the alumni legacy with commemorative programs and special events on campus and through chapters and contacts in approximately 100 cities around the world...including Orange County, CA! 2011 OC Badger of the Year:

Congratulations to Julie Schoen Orange County Badger's first recipient of Badger of the Year Award! This award is given to a UW-Madison graduate who has distinguished herself in the Orange County as a volunteer and through her dedicated service to our community and her profession. Among her many accomplishments and leadership positions, Ms. Schoen is an attorney and advocate for issues concerning the elderly.

OC Badgers Support Local Students:

Give to the UW Alumni Chapter of Orange County Scholarship Fund. All funds collected, up to $10,000, will be matched by the UW Foundation. All proceeds will go to deserving local students attending UW-Madison.

Our Chapter is open to alumni of the University as well as anyone else who is from the state, likes the state, or knows where the state is and wants to socialize and be part of our chapter! Get involved, meet new people, help out your community and have some fun!

Chapter's Objectives:

promoting the best interests of the University of Wisconsin-Madison
to create a social setting
perform community service
provide a scholarship program to assist students currently attending or interested in attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
