Wisconsin Alumni Association: Norway Chapter
The Alumni Club of Norway (UWACN) is an affiliate of the Wisconsin Alumni Association in Madison (WAA). The Club offers a connection to the UW for the several hundred men and women in Norway who have graduated from or attended the University of Wisconsin. The Club sponsors a variety of activities that allow members to meet on a social basis to maintain and strengthen their ties to the UW . We encourage and promote qualified students to study and do research at the UW. We can also help and give advice on financial matters such as scholarships and student loans.
We are a diverse group with a broad range of ages, careers and interests. Though roughly 90 percent of us live in the Oslo area, we have members spread geographically over most of Norway. Membership in the Club is open to anyone who has had an academic relationship with the University of Wisconsin.
