Online: French and Francophone Women Writers

Discover the struggles, seductions and solitudes of women writers from France and the Francophone world while exploring relations between gender, society and creativity. This new online course features archival material from noted UW French professor Elaine Marks, along with lectures by nationally recognized alumni and faculty.

Each week, a new course unit is posted. A class message board for comments and questions is also available, and a reader is included in the course fee. Readings and discussions are in English.
