Support local students!
Give to the UW Alumni Chapter of Fond du Lac Matching Scholarship Fund (#12901671). All funds collected, up to $8,000, will be matched by the UW Foundation. All proceeds will go to deserving local students attending UW-Madison.
This year’s tailgate party and scholarship raffle will be held at JR’s Sports Bar & Grill, at 65 North Main Street in Fond du Lac. Come and join fellow Badger fans to cheer on Bucky at a smoke-free event. The start time has not been announced, so check the media and meet at JR’s for fun and fellowship on November 1.
There will be food and drink specials at JR’s to help us celebrate the defeat of the Spartans, and the successful scholarship drive. Invite your friends to join us. There are plenty of TVs to assure good viewing for all. The rest is up to Bucky!
We will draw the raffle winner’s names at halftime. Tickets will be available until a couple of minutes before the drawing. Cash prizes are as follows:
FIRST PRIZE - $500 SECOND PRIZE - $250 THIRD PRIZE - $100 4TH - 8TH PRIZES - $20
You need not be present to win the cash prizes, but the drawing will continue for door prizes donated by Board members and other supporters. If you could donate a Badger item as a door prize, contact a Board member - or just bring it along. You must be in attendance to claim the additional door prizes.
See the newsletter for ticket info, or contact a board member.
