About the Motor City Badgers Chapter

• Cooperate with WAA in promoting the best interests of the university.
• Encourage qualified young people to attend UW-Madison.
• Support local students attending the UW.
• Provide UW-Madison alumni, parents, and students in the area with a local connection to the university.
• Foster fellowship and cooperation among alumni and friends of the UW.
• Serve as a tool for networking in the local job market.
• Provide leadership in the support of higher education.
• Socialize in the famous Badger tradition!
• Assist and support UW student and alumni organizations.
• Maintain awareness of legislative developments affecting the university.

We are constantly working with the Wisconsin Alumni Association to reach out and embrace all UW-Madison alumni in Southeast Michigan. We are interested in developing new, non-traditional events focused on capturing the interest of alumni that have not been involved in the past.
