Bucky's All-Alumni Food Drive 2008 Collection Event

Charlotte area alums collected 25 pounds of food for Charlotte's Loaves and Fishes food pantry at our game watch on November 15th. Donors of 5 or more food items received an On Wisconsin pin and Gordy Vytlacil won the chapter raffle for a prize from WAA. The Badgers topped things off by rallying for a thrilling second half comeback win over the Gophers. Check out a picture from this event in the Photos section.

Looking for a place to watch the Badger Game in Charlotte? Jocks and Jills Sports Grill will be our home for the 2009-10 football and basketball seasons. If the Badgers are on TV they will have it.

The club's mission is to:

  • cooperate with WAA in promoting the best interests of the university.
  • encourage qualified young people to attend UW-Madison.
  • support local students attending the UW.
  • provide UW-Madison alumni, parents, and students in the area with a local connection to the university.
  • foster fellowship and cooperation among alumni and friends of the UW.
  • serve as a tool for networking in the local job market.
  • provide leadership in the support of higher education.
  • socialize in the famous Badger tradition!
  • assist and support UW student and alumni organizations.
  • maintain awareness of legislative developments affecting the university.

Support Local Students!

Give to the UW Alumni Club of Charlotte Scholarship Fund. All funds collected, up to $8,000, will be matched by the UW Foundation. All proceeds will go to deserving local students attending UW-Madison.
