WAA: Central Florida Chapter

With the Badgers football team in bowl games in our area 4 years running, many UW alumni asked if there was a local group of Central Florida Badgers that got together for activities throughout the year.

There isn’t currently a formal local alumni group, but we figured we’d ask and see how many of you might be interested in attending and/or helping to organize an event or two.

So, please e-mail Dave Holt at FloridaBadgers@Gmail.com and let him know:

1. Are you interested in attending local Wisconsin-related events?

2. Are you interested in helping to organize a local event?

3. What type of events are you interested in (local game watch parties, cultural events like museum tours or concerts, UW groups like the Wisconsin Singers, UW faculty appearances, educational events, etc.)?

Give to the UW Alumni Club of Central Florida Scholarship Fund. All funds collected, up to $8,000, will be matched by the UW Foundation. All proceeds will go to deserving local students attending UW-Madison.
