2007 New Student Send-Off

It just keeps getting better every year! This year's New Student Sendoff on August 16 was once again a tremendous success. About 50 students and close to 125 people attended the annual event at the Swan Club in DePere. The evening included free hors de oeuvres and drinks, lots of socializing among the soon-to-be UW Freshmen, retrospectives from two “last year” freshmen and a welcome to students from Mike Fahey, director of State Relations for the Wisconsin Alumni Association. The every popular Badger Trivia game was played and many student and parents participated in a brief Q & A session. Thank you to all our gift sponsors and special thanks to everyone who volunteered from the Brown County Chapter for all their hard work in putting on a first class sendoff.
