2011 Forward under 40 Award Requirements and Criteria

Requirements of award winners:

  • UW degreed alum (bachelor’s or professional)
  • Cannot turn 40 (or older) prior to Jan. 1, 2011
  • Willing to have photo taken and published for publication
  • Must opt-in to nomination process and provide required information

Criteria:

The winner must exemplify the Wisconsin Idea (www.wisc.edu/wisconsinidea) – the selection committee will judge this based on the following criteria:
  • Achievements in their volunteer and/or professional life
  • Uniqueness and impact of achievements for someone of their age
  • Impact they’ve made in their area of focus (in their field or community)
  • Current ties to the UW
  • Demonstrated Badger spirit in terms of energy, initiative, creativity, and drive in their accomplishments
