Paul's Bookstore is one of the few businesses in the State Street area that is still around fifty years later. It's also a step back in time for patrons and a second home to the student staff whom owner Caryl Askins '51 has helped over the years.

Paul's may be a survivor of the pre-computer age, but that isn't true for all of Madison's bookstores.
