Homecoming 5K Charity Run/Walk 2008
Sunday, October 19 - 10:30 a.m. FREE 1-mile Kid’s Fun Run with Bucky; 11:00 a.m. 5K Run/Walk

Come join the UW-Homecoming Committee for a 5K Charity Run/Walk to benefit the Dean of Student's Crisis Fund Sunday, October 19.
The adventure begins for kids twelve and under at 10:30 a.m. with a FREE one-mile fun run along the scenic lakeshore path. Dress in your favorite super hero costume to help Bucky on his quest!
The excitement continues at 11:00 a.m. with the 5k Run/Walk. The race starts out on Langdon Street in front of the Memorial Union and continues along Observatory Drive and the Lakeshore path.
After the race join Bucky for a brat cookout, food, refreshments and awards! T-shirts and stuffed bags will also be given out to each participant!
Register online by September 29 to ensure t-shirt size. Online registration closes Sunday, October 12. Day of registration begins in Library Mall at 10:00 am.
Proceeds benefit the Dean of Students Crisis Loan Fund, which is an emergency assistance program that helps students that have an unexpected financial crisis when their academic continuation can be ensured by a small, short-term loan
