Your Instructor
A native of Wisconsin's beautiful Door County,
William H. Tishler earned his bachelor's degree in landscape architecture at UW-Madison and completed graduate work at Harvard University. Now an emeritus professor of landscape architecture at UW-Madison, Tishler has lectured widely throughout his career, and his professional achievements yielded numerous awards, including an honor from the American Society of Landscape Architects. He is the author of several books, including Door County's Emerald Treasure: A History of Peninsula State Park.
