You’re invited to hear transformative ideas about health and medicine
UW–Madison is heading to Southern California this spring to share scientific breakthroughs and bold ideas that are enhancing your life. Karl Scholz, dean of the UW’s College of Letters & Science, will introduce visionaries in the fields of Alzheimer’s research, cancer treatment, and nursing:
- Professor Kristine Kwekkeboom ’89, MS’95, PhD’99, School of Nursing
- Howard Bailey, director, UW Carbone Cancer Center; professor, School of Medicine and Public Health
- Professor Cynthia Carlsson MS’05, School of Medicine and Public Health

Each event will consist of a one-hour reception followed a moderated panel discussion.
