If you like to drink bier, eat bratwürst with sauerkraut and dance to live German “Oom-Pah” bands, then you’ll love the traditional Oktoberfest at The Phoenix Club.
Celebrating Oktoberfest for over 50 years, The Phoenix Club in Anaheim is the most authentic Oktoberfest in Southern California with the best German food in the OC and the largest selection of German import bier on tap, not to mention Schnaps Girls! Twist and Shout, Polkas and Prosits in the Festzelt and Biergarten will have you partying like a German in no time!
Oktoberfest is open from 6 p.m. to midnight. The band starts at 6 p.m.
Admission for adults is $10 and 18 and under are free.
All ages are welcome. Admission wristbands for adults 21 years or older with valid ID’s are required for alcohol purchase. Children’s playground and activities are available every day.
You can bring your own empty stein or other drinking vessel to Oktoberfest. Please note that at Oktoberfest they will not fill your stein directly. They sell bier in a cup and you can then pour the bier into your own stein.
The Phoenix Club does not reserve tables at Oktoberfest. The Orange County Chapter will try to claim some tables early so look for red and white. Table space can be claimed on a first-come, first served basis. As in Bavaria, it is not uncommon to share tables with strangers on busier weekends. The Biergarten and Tent sport long tables and bench seats. All you have to do is ask if there is free space: “Ist das Platz frei, bitte?” However, it is advisable to not sit down at a Stammtisch (table with a table cloth or sign) even if you find it to be completely empty, since this is a table designated for members of a group or society, available to their membership only or by invitation.
Free parking is available, but it can be packed, so arrive early.
Organized by WAA: Orange County Chapter.
