Join UW alumni from across Wisconsin who will be at the state capitol to speak with their legislators in support of their university.
If you’ve never spoken to your legislator before, don’t worry: you’ll be with other alumni, and we’ll give you everything you need to be an effective advocate. All you need to do is register, show up, and wear red.
Don’t miss this chance to stand up for the university you love by letting your elected officials know how much the UW means to you and your community.
The event begins with lunch and a talk by Chancellor Rebecca Blank, followed by meetings with legislators in the afternoon. The event concludes with a reception at the Concourse Hotel.
Scheduling the meetings: Once you’ve registered for the lunch, we’ll contact you to schedule your meeting(s) with your legislator(s). We’ll also provide a confirmation once the meetings are scheduled. Scheduling will begin in mid-March.
