Badger Café: “Mid-Latitude Weather Systems: What’s behind the Storms”

Jonathan Martin, a professor and chair of the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, is an expert on mid-latitude weather systems such as snowstorms. His presentation will address the nature of warming winters and provide an up-to-date look at where we are in 2018.

This free event is open to all, but registration by January 26 is strongly recommended!

Parking: Complimentary parking is available in a heated parking pavilion in the 800 block of North Prospect Avenue. There is easy access to the University Club’s entrance under the porte cochère. If that parking structure is full, you may park outside in a service lot on North Marshall Street, adjacent to the heated garage.
