Badger Café: Wisconsin Innocence Project

February 28 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM
Appleton Public Library, 225 N. Oneida Street, Appleton, WI
Cost: Free

Keith Findley will talk about the groundbreaking Wisconsin Innocence Project, which he cofounded in 1998 to exonerate innocent prisoners. Findley is an associate professor and codirector of the Wisconsin Innocence Project at the University of Wisconsin Law School. He teaches about evidence, wrongful convictions, and criminal procedure. From 2009 to November 2014, Findley served as president of the Innocence Network, an affiliation of 68 innocence projects in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, France, Italy, South Africa, Israel, and Argentina. It should be a fascinating, eye-opening evening.
