UW Alumni, Brian Zimmerman, awarded for transformative leadership

1997 alumni and CEO of Cleveland Metroparks, Brian M. Zimmerman, was recently honored with Smart Business Magazine’s ‘Smart 50’ Award, recognizing the region’s top 50 executives who effectively build and lead innovative and “smart” organizations. In addition, Zimmerman received the Impact Award, honoring the executive that employees innovation in their organization to make a meaningful difference in the company’s productivity and/or bottom line. Zimmerman was also named the 2016 Ohio Parks and Recreation Association (OPRA) Professional of the Year.
